Born of a love for gelato and a desire to share it with others, Hello Gelato delivers delicious, authentic gelato to your special event with substance and style. Our gelato bikes can set up in any venue and ply your guests with scoops of delicious gelato, made locally and with love by our food partners at Maleny Food Co. Our all inclusive hire packages leave you free to simply enjoy scoop on scoop of mouthwatering, life-changing gelato. It’s like having your own private Gelateria!
We’re based on the beautiful Sunshine Coast, so our bikes can pedal to events all over the Sunshine Coast region as well as Brisbane and beyond, adding a dash of coastal culture wherever they roam. Naturally, we don’t consider ourselves to be in the gelato business as much as we’re in the business of making people happy. So whatever the occasion, be it a wedding, birthday, or corporate event, Hello Gelato wants to be right there celebrating with you. Simply drop us a line and we’ll sort the rest.
Our GELATO & SORBETS
Our gelato is made locally and with love by our food partners at Maleny Food Co., based in the heart of the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Their award-winning gelatos and sorbets consistently feature on the tasting table at Australian industry awards. Their most decorated flavours include classics like chocolate and vanilla, as well as their strawberry gelato (which also won silver at last year’s Royal Queensland Food and Wine Show), along with Hazelnut Roche & Crème Caramel, which never fails to impress.
Dairy-free standouts include the ever-popular lemon sorbet, and the light and refreshing Mango & Raspberry sorbets. The secret to award-winning gelato? Besides pure love and dedication to their craft, Maleny Food Co. uses only premium Guernsey milk and cream from a local dairy as the base for their gelato. From there, all gelato flavours are created using fresh local seasonal produce. Because they make everything from scratch in small batches, the churning crew at Maleny Food Co. are in absolute control of all variables, so they have dairy free, gluten free options covered.
EVENTS
Make your event totally unique, with delicious, authentic Italian gelato served Riviera style from the hold of our vintage style gelato bike. Using traditional Italian recipes and Queensland’s finest ingredients, your guests will experience their own private Gelateria.

WEDDING HIRE
Looking for a unique way to celebrate an engagement or proposal, or treat your guests for a wedding ceremony, or reception? Our wedding packages are tailored to suit each phase of your special day, offering quick refreshment either side of the ceremony, or a whole dessert course at your reception. For a zippy little visit from Hello Gelato, this package is perfect. Before the reception gets underway, kick off the newlywed festivities with a leisurely visit from a Hello Gelato gelato bike. RECEPTION

The reception package is by far our biggest service, catering to up to 150 guests, and can be offered as a fun supplement or alternative to a traditional cake. Perfect for weddings in the subtropical South East, or once things start heating up on the dance floor.
